“ Finally! I had driven by Mr. K's a few times, and they were closed, but traffic routed me by there, and I finally got to try them. I'm from Michigan, and catfish is a staple food. Not so much in Tucson, so I jumped on the catfish platter and got the greens and Mac and cheese on the side. Everything was hot and delicious! The catfish satisfied a craving I had had since moving here! I couldn't leave without trying the ribs, so I got a half slab to go and the peach cobbler. I wasn't disappointed! The ribs were big, meaty, and juicy. The peach cobbler was good, too! There is a menu displaying a lot of choices so you will find something you like. Enjoy! ”

“ The Burnt Ends sandwich was one of the best BBQ I've had. I returned with my wife a few days later for the brisket sandwich, excellent. Their prices are refreshingly low compared to what you get. I will continue returning every couple days during this trip and revisit every 6 months when I'm back here for flight training. I have to continue trying everything on the menu! The founders are from Texarkana and Louisiana. Their son was a friendly host for us. I guess they brought their wonderful flavors from their home to us here. I always try to eat at small family owned establishments. ”
